FIRST AND SECOND LINES POETRY

‘BRICKS BELONG’

Zigzagging, public shelters — land storage.

Hauled memories.

Scavenged clothes.

Stop, route monthly spot.

Dangerous place. City Aroma. Perfumed, aftershave.

Banned smoking. People nowhere.

My father inside my head.

Protest first time.

Gaggle drunks. Midnight. Clubs closed.

Gang distract, anything.

Small degree —warmth.

Dirt underneath, avoid bend.

Track expression. Okay safer, warmer. Boots, clothes hand.

Factory, boxes belong.

Day, finger, night street.

Drivers’ crazy idea. Pass good Samaritan.

Travelling, night, bed. City people.

I wander.

A Diversity Story
A time came when a man wanted to help a person without making it seems that he is giving away too much.
He must lower himself to get the excellent response he wants. He lets himself go, and it worked.

EBL is committed to diversity, equality and inclusion irrespective of status
